Abstract

Microorganisms are tiny living organisms that are widely distributed in nature. Microorganisms are classified into two main categories: beneficial microorganisms and harmful microorganisms. This review focuses on beneficial microorganisms found in the human body that play an important role in health. Microorganisms are mainly found in the small and large intestines and play a vital role in digestion and metabolism. These organisms, which include bacteria and fungi, secrete enzymes that help break down food and absorb nutrients. In addition, these organisms contribute to the production of certain vitamins and regulate immune system function.
